[Part 3] Gamegirl.com interview: The nitty gritty… ;)
Here is the last in our series of the three part set of interviews from the girls over at GameGirl.com; we talk with the new crew about the new girls and various kinky topics such as l33t speak, gamer panties, love for developers and much much more. The girls are a spunky bunch, good at their game and not afraid of anything. Check out this latest article with the girls :)
KG: Are there any fit game developers that you have a secret crush on? I’m thinking CliffyB ain’t bad, but I want to know what your thoughts our as the male gamers have Jade Raymond amongst others to lust after.
Nikole: Sure. There are several attractive people in the industry I have crushes on. But I’m far too coy to tell you about them.
Ladyluck: Sorry. Another no on this one. Although there are plenty I’d love to meet.
Rini: Cliffy B is pretty good looking, but I don’t suppose I’m very familiar with a lot of game developers. Jade is pretty hott too. ☺
Raychul: Yes, I have a huge crush on my boyfriend Dan Shoe who has been a journalist in the gaming industry for years. He was the Editor-in-Chief for EGM and the 1UP Network for several years and now he is working on his own blog called SoreThumbsBlog.com
Heather: I’m totally out of the loop here. I rarely pay attention to the attractiveness of people in the industry. Jeez, I’m boring?! I’m thinking most of the girls are in fact way hotter. Give us some men up to par!
Kess: Well, Jade is a pretty gal, so I would even say I have a little girl-crush on her. But yes, Cliff is a hottie. Tommy Tallarico isn’t bad either!
Jess: Not really, I’m pretty indifferent to how my game developers look. They would be hot even if they had bad teeth and no muscles if they created certain games for me. Also, for the most part my affections are for the characters I play, not necessarily those who created them. Maybe it is vicarious affection?
The Baroness: I definitely have a big thing for Hideo Kojima *waves*
Janessa: Um, no I don’t really know of any game devs that I particularly lust after… although I must say some of the guys from Bungie have some hilarious podcasts that I really enjoy.
KG: For that matter, would a game developer stand a better chance with you, say to go out and have a drink, than a normal gamer?
Raychul: No, if I were single. I don’t think someone being a developer verses a normal gamer would mean anything different to me.
Heather: I’m a pretty friendly gal so I tend to get along with anyone with similar interests.
Ladyluck: Speaking from if I were single perspective, it would depend on the gamer and the developer. I’m a person that likes to get to know the person. So if I click with the gamer over the developer, then I may just choose the gamer. It would all just depend on the situation.
Jess: Nope! I’m not the kind to date rich or famous people for such reasons. I see everyone in the same light. You still need to treat me right, never let me win a game (unless I beat you fair and square!), and buy me gummies.
Rini: I don’t think status has much to do with it, but I’d definitely be interested and want to talk to them, because they see gaming from two different perspectives. I’m pretty particular with who I go on a date with or go out for a drink with, so they’d have to be pretty intriguing, haha.
Janessa: I don’t think I would hang out with a game developer JUST because of his job, but it would definitely be something that would interest me. Anyone stands a good chance to go out and have a drink with me really, I’m not that picky honestly haha.
Kess: Nope, jobs have no stand in whether I’ll go out with guy or not. As long as I can get along with and stand the guy I’m perfectly fine with whatever he does. Just as long as he has goals, those are a plus.
The Baroness: It certainly wouldn’t hurt his chances! I’d love to spend a night chatting with someone about how they made their game and what new ideas they had.
